Cremated ashes can be stored in an urn within a niche, scattered at sea through a sea burial, or scattered through inland ash scattering, providing your family with flexible options to honour your loved no matter where life takes them.
A Thoughtful Financial Approach
In Singapore, government-run crematoria, such as the Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium Complex, offer cremation services at a relatively low cost—$100 for adults and $50 for children under 10 years old.

Understanding the Cremation Process
Before this, the next of kin or legal representative would have already signed the cremation authorisation form.
The coffin is then transferred to the cremation chamber, where the temperature is raised to between 870 to 980 degrees Celsius. Over the course of 90 minutes to two hours, the intense heat reduces the body to cremated remains.
Once the cremation is complete, the remains are left to cool for about 30 minutes to an hour before being refined into a finer consistency using a machine called a cremulator.
Finally, the ashes are placed in a temporary container or an urn chosen by the family, ready for the next stage of memorialisation.
